NIKE Tournament of Champions
The 24th Annual Nike Tournament of Champions will be held December 18-22, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. The event will feature 96 elite teams from 22 States and Canada, including the majority of the preseason top 25 teams in the nation.
Established in 1997, the Tournament of Champions has been hailed as the greatest interscholastic basketball event – for boys or girls – in the world, and has long been considered the de facto National Championship for American girls’ basketball.
Since its inception, the Tournament has produced the consensus National Champions 19 times in the last 22 years; during that span it has hosted a remarkable total of 377 State Championship teams from 42 different States. The Tournament has also been a showcase for most of the brightest young stars in the sport; over two decades it has played host to hundreds of high school All-Americans and future collegiate and professional stars, and its alumni include 8 Olympians and 22 WNBA All-stars, including five #1 draft picks.
The head coach or a designated representative must register between 4:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, December 17th, at the Arizona Grand Resort in Palm 3AB on the third level of the Conference Center at the Arizona Grand Resort. At this time you will receive tickets to the tip-off dinner (if you RSVP’d); tickets to the NIKE Coaches’ Party (see below); coaching credentials; and important schedule information.
